Beautiful pair of hard sole moccasins with 4 cuffs. Tribal affiliation Wind River Shoshone. " The sole length is about 11". The mid-foot width is about 4. These moccasins are an item left from the inventory of my Mother's shop in Montana. She bought from Indian trading posts in the Plateau Region. The Plateau Region consists of Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Montana and British Columbia. They have been packed away in a trunk for about 50 years.

They are hand stitched, and should be treated as cultural works of art. They cannot withstand being used as every day wear, or worn while participating in recreational activities such as dancing, horse back riding, or other sporting events. There condition is new, even though they are over 50 years old. Especially since their artisan affiliation is documented.
