Extremely Loud Thunder Mug For Sale! PROUDLY MADE IN THE USA! These Thunder Mugs are a crowd pleaser at all celebrations as their "boom" is an experience to behold. Even Thor, The God of Thunder, nods his head in approval to these billet machined recreational salute cannons.

These are crafted by myself, a professional machinist, in the heart of American Fork, Utah. I only use structural grade USA AISI 1018 CRS (Cold Rolled Carbon Steel).

Perfect for holiday celebrations, birthdays, Independence Day, New Year's, etc. While these units are often beautifully machined, please note that is common to have machine tool marks, vice marks, and chuck marks on the surface from the machining operations. If any defect is not satisfactory, please reach out for resolution - I stand behind my work.

These cannot be used with any projectile and should be used by responsible individuals only as severe injury may occur. Directions are outlined below and should be followed in strict accordance. Video: What is a Thunder Mug? Grade Steel: AISI 1018 HRS (Hot Rolled Steel).

Base Diameter: 3 15 /16" (3.93"). Muzzle Outside Diameter: 3 1/4" (3.25"). Muzzle Bore Diameter: 2 1/4" (Billiard Ball Size - 2.26"). Fuse Hole: 9/64" (For 1/8" Cannon Fuses). Insert the 1/8 fuse into the fuse hole. Pour between 125 grains to 1000 grains of BP into the muzzle. Start with smaller measurements and work up from there. Load wadding into the muzzle - I use hot dog buns as they squish very nicely in the muzzle and make a hard pack.

Place upright on a solid surface - never at an angle - in a secure location at least 50 feet from people/pets/property. Keep the Thunder Mug oiled whenever in storage. Any kind of oil will work but WD-40 or gunoil is preferred. This unit comes without any protective clear coat or bluing so it is suspect to rust. To clean, use hot soapy water and re-coat with oil.
