COLLECTOR QUALITY; Multi Stone Natural Blue Bisbee Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet. This Gorgeous well made cuff bracelet exhibits a total of Twelve Natural High grade Blue Bisbee Turquoise Cabochons from the Bisbee Arizona Lavender Pit Mine. The twelve bisbee stones average c 5/16"+/- diameter each; the bracelet is rigid and can fit a 6 7/8"wrist (actual measurements 5 1/4" interior end to end with 1 5/8" open gap= 6 7/8 Wrist Size);Cuff can be adjusted smaller by a jeweler; and has a Center Setting Height of around 1 5/8 and measures c. 2.75W across the front face. The bracelet contains a twelve domed Bisbee Turquoise Natural Stones with a couple of the stones having a rare occurrence of "rose quartz" intrusion.
See closeup of intrusion in the second picture. Turquoise sometimes runs within cracks in the vicinity of large bodies of quartz that can become speckled throughout the turquoise deposit. Intrusive quartz in turquoise is rather rare.Turquoise veins running with quartz rich knobs of feldspar and rhyolite produces very hard turquoise and often displays visible quartz inclusions. The stones are framed with raindrops; twisted white above and below; hand stamped sunburst designs at the perimeters and has an offset array of incredible silversmithing craftsmanship to one side consisting of intricate scrolls, feathers, beadings and more. Pictures are part of the description. Warm patina to the silver.
The piece is unsigned old pawn; however is marked with "sterling" on the back. These are hard glossy "gemstones"; taking eons to form just under the right conditions. The stones are "so beautiful" in person. HARD TO CAPTURE THE TRUE BEAUTY AND CHARACTER OF THIS BRACELET WITH A CAMERA. Over the years I have only collected Native American Jewelry based on the value, grade, and rarity of the piece, preferring jewelry with unique character, along with great craftsmanship.
In other words, jewelry that is not only beautiful, but a great investment, and of historical value. Tested Positive For Sterling Silver Unsigned Old Pawn Pristine Condition to Silver and Stones As collectors of old pawn natural turquoise jewelry are discovering, it is becoming more difficult to acquire jewelry with such beautiful rare stones and workmanship.
Most of the turquoise mines are now depleted and closed and less and less fine quality old pawn turquoise jewelry is coming to the open market; except through old stock and personal collections. THE STERLING SILVER HAS BEEN TESTED AND IS GUARANTEED STERLING SILVER. PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO CHECK OUT OUR SITE FOR ADDITIONAL NATIVE AMERICAN PIECES; SEE PICTURES.PICS ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.
