I crocheted this blanket as a stashghan experiment to make traditional granny squares point-to-point as a ripple while using my stash of yarn remnants. Made with 15,000+ crochet stitches assembled in bands of greens, blues, browns, pinks, and greys separated by bands of white and black. The blanket was laundered for sizing though never used. My crochet finish technique is a tedious one of triple weaving to ensure no raveling from the yarn changes. Blanket is reversable with no definitive front or back and has a nice drape to the crochet fabric. This is my original design made with only stitch knowledge and no referenced pattern: truly One Of A Kind =. The blanket was made with a collection of easy-care acrylic yarns and is machine washable. Top and bottom are edged by the pattern and sides are unedged. Slight variations of yarn color and texture make this blanket more suitable as casual draping than perhaps flat lay display - another factor in my reducing the price for this project.

Made with careful attention to consistent stitch count. Crochet blanket measures approximately 48 inches wide x 72 inches long (pictured above displayed across a full-size bed). Weight: 2 pounds 15 ounces.
