The low whistle head joint was something I developed a few years back when there was no one offering an end blown whistle head joint for sale. I took about a year of trial and error and testing with many flute and whistle players to perfect the design until it reached its current form. I have tried to keep mine at a reasonable price but still offer a quality product that has some internal engineering to correct the tuning and intonation between octaves so it can be played as a professional studio quality instrument. The low whistle head joint works great for low whistle players who with their instrument could play all the sharps and flats of the Chromatic scale and also play down to C. It also works great for anyone who has a hard time holding the flute out to the side and prefers an end blown instrument that can be held in front of you.

The whistle mouthpiece is also much easier than blowing across a hole on the flute and worrying about your embouchure. It has the classic Celtic low whistle sound. This is a multi- item listing.
