1:1 Scale Captain America Shield 1940's based on the movie'The First Avenger' Hand Made. A fantastic collectors piece for any fan or great for cosplay. I realised that there were no full size 1940's shields out there so decided to make my own! With over 10 years experience in prop making and having worked for Pinewood Studios and in America you won't be disappointed! The shield is made of strong, long lasting wood and is airbrushed with professional grade chrome paint to give it the look of being metal but also lightweight for cosplay or hanging on the wall.

The front of the shield is then sprayed with high gloss paint to give it an amazing finish, with the whole shield then having a protective coat of clear lacquer so it lasts the test of time and won't chip. The straps are then fitted using only the finest genuine stained leather.

Please note, this is not the actual shield you will receive. However I will keep you updated every step of the way. PLEASE NOTE: This item is hand made and hand painted.

As a result, there are imperfections in the wood and imperfections in the paintwork. I do however try my best to minimize this and strive for the perfect product.
