RARE USA Handmade Cannondale Track Capo Optimo 58cm Fixed Fixie Track Bike 2007. Here it is: the modern Cannondale Track.

The Capo is a stunning, handmade (until 2008ish, then quality went really downhill as they moved to Chinese manufactured frames) FAST city track fixie/freewheel bike with horizontal dropouts. This Capo is finished in the super desirable bare aluminum/grey decal colorway. It is a large/XL size, previous owner told me it was a 58cm, not sure what the exact measurements are but I'm 6'3 with proportionally short legs and I fit great.

It weighs around 16lbs with the November Bicycles RAIL52 front wheel (a super light and super stiff carbon fiber clincher rim with their standard hub). It's light, stiff, fun to ride and very fast.

This specific bike comes with Cannondale's quite rare Slice ULTRA carbon fork, only equipped on some of the 07 bikes. It's in great shape, there is some corrosion that has caused some of the paint on the bottom lugs to flake off and a small chip in the clear (as pictured).

It has an original Cannondale OEM alloy stem, a super stiff Titec Enduro XC bar, a smooth FSA headset, forged FSA RPM cranks, and an Avid mechanical front brake. It has a rare Cannondale Wind carbon/alloy hybrid seatpost and a brand new OEM Wind seatpost clamp. The saddle is a very uncommon titanium-rail Litespeed perforated leather seat (original off a Blade, light wear and super comfy, leather is excellent quality, I believe Selle made these). Front wheel is a November Bicycles RAIL 52 with some scuffs and scratches but nice and true, rear wheel is the original Mach1 510 rim and flip-flop hub. Some grooving around the braking surface but spins true.

Front skewer is an old Campagnolo item. Comes with alloy Wellgo pedals. I can include the original front wheel for a little extra. It's in similar condition to the rear. The bottom bracket seems to be in good shape, some minor noise but I've never dropped a chain. Overall, some corrosion on hardware, but the frame itself is SUPER clean.

Absolutely no cracks or serious damage. Rear fixed hub is rarely ridden on, I usually just pedal around freewheeling. Could use some minor restoration, ready for a serious build.

These frames are unbelievably rare, especially in larger sizes: finding a clean USA-made Capo has become very difficult as these are rapidly appreciating future classics.
